How to select fruit for tropical fruit salad?

All fruits are best taken medium in size. Papaya should be tested for softness and juiciness. When pressing on the fruit, a small dent should remain.
The watermelon should already be ripe. There are several signs its readiness. The first is a dried stipule, that is, a "tail". But you should not be guided only by it, because it could wither during transportation or already on the counter. The second sign is the bright color of the watermelon and the pronounced pattern on the rind without any matt bloom. It is also important that the place where the fruit lay on the ground is bright yellow, not white. But if such spots are observed on top of the watermelon, it means that the fruit was damaged by the sun.
Don't look at the beauty of the other fruits as the beauty is on the inside.
Hope you enjoy the recipe and love these exotic bright and juicy fruits.
